FOLSOM EUROPE started in 2004 as a spin-off of the Folsom street Fair in San Francisco. A small event in numbers in 2004: 5.000. But it gradually became bigger: 25.000 alone in 2011.
Folsom Europe works under a license from the San Francisco organisation. Nowadays FOLSOM EUROPE organizes an annual street fair and parts of the other events in cooperation with its members and Berlin based parties.

For the first time, the LGBTIQ * Winter Days and an LGBTIQ * Christmas Market are taking place there in Berlin - the "Christmas Avenue" - "the LGBTIQ * Winter Days" was opened on 15.11.2019.
