Amsterdam Bearpride 2014 was a success
From Thursday March 20th till Monday March 24th 2014 Amsterdam celebrate it’s first ever Bear Pride Festival. The city of cheese, tulips and tolerance had welcomes all the furry fella’s and their friends for a weekend filled with fun. Bowling, a pub crawl, dancing, cruising, bingo, a canal cruise and of course The Mister Bear Netherlands election are just some of the highlights of a diverse schedule of events.
The Bearpride was an overwhelming success.
The Bearpride weekend aims to bring people from the community together, to simply have a good time and organized by people from that same community. Amsterdam is proud to be a diverse and gay friendly city and it is time we celebrated with that Bear Pride.
Organizer, Michael Roks, found that there was room for an extra event in Amsterdam. Besides the leather pride (in May) , this year with the 1st Bearpride.
Bears all over Europe visiting Amsterdam and exploring the city, enjoy the broad range of shops, food and the buzzing nightlife. Highlight of this BearPride was The Mister Bear Netherlands 2014 election cooperation by two popular Bear events , Bear Necessity and Furball in the magnificent scenery of the Odeon hall.
Everything was supported by several sponcors .

80 participants for the 27th edition of the Canal Parade 2024
The participants for the 27th edition of the Canal Parade have been selected.
Together with the announcement of the six new Pride Ambassadors, this marks the start of preparations for Pride Amsterdam 2024.
About 300 events will take place during Pride, something for everyone and every community has been taken into account.
