Gay Pride Paris 2018 will be marked by discrimination in sport


Nearly half a million people walked between the Place de la Concorde in the Place de la République for the Pride March in Paris.

The Inter-LGBT organizes the LGBTQI + Pride March in Paris on 30 June. The route of the 2018 event:

The preparation is a symbolic place on the Place de la Concorde before the National Assembly. The route to Place de la République runs along the Rue de Rivoli, the boulevard de Sébastopol and Boulevard Saint-Martin. Expected arrival of the first demonstrators in Repu 'around 17h, for the big stage at the end of the long procession.

The metro on the road is interrupted and the stations are closed on line 1, 7, 4, ..

. The arrival of the Pride March will be Place de la République where Grand Podium will take place from 17:00 to 22:00 at the end of March.

The party continues in the many evenings and the bar of the Marais.

Less good news is that the Rainbow pedestrian crossings painted on roads in the Marais district of Paris for Saturday's march have been vandalised with homophobic slogans for the second time this week. City workmen has clean up this graffiti this morning before the begin of the parade. The mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, announced that she would place more rainbow crossings because Paris is a safe haven with values of freedom, equality and fraternity.
