Police review said the venue should lose its 24-hour license after a string of incidents.
The current owner ,Mr Holmes , deeply regret that he have had to put his business up for sale after running a highly successful gay business for nearly 20 years.
Since 2003 the venue has operated with a 24 hour license at the weekends. As times change so have the clientele, so the management have decided to impose a new door entry system in the early hours, operating a new membership system and a door entry fee on the weekends.
The extremely strict methods for the regular customers upset so many who used to enjoy the Bulldog’s facilities on a daily and weekly basis.
