La Demence spectacular 25 years celebration

De La Demence party celebrating their 25.th anniversary in 2014, and this with a   spectacular celebration weekend.

The brain behind this concept is Thierry Coppens who earned his spurs as a student in a club in West Flanders,    where it originated the idea to organize a gayparty.

After a first edition Thierry took the idea into their own hands and organized private parties   at various locations near Kortrijk around 1989 -1990 with La Demence with few success.

Afterwards the party moved to an old cinema in Brussels (who later became Fuse nightclub) and that was the place for the La Demence Party.

After a difficult start of the first weekly parties and Saturday editions , the concept moved to monthly parties . Now La Demence is part of Brussels. With the 20th anniversary La Demence began to organize two full weekends parties yearly   and later continue with the party concept 'Cruise' in the Mediterranean.

In 2015 there shall be a third party weekend because there is also a La Demence weekend on 31 December and 1 January. New Year's Eve and New Year celebration powered by La Demence. In 2015 the name 'La Demence Cruise' changed to The_Cruise powered by La Demence' because The Cruise does not have as much to do with the monthly underground party at Fuse.

Thierry receives many questions to go abroad with the concept,   but La Demence stays in Brussels and maintains its international reach audience.

Congratulations on the 25th anniversary.
