PRIK voted Popular gay bar of Netherlands 2014
For years in a row De Prik Gaybar has been voted for best or popular gay bar by several publications, including Time Out and now from the public of news website Gaysite.nl. On February 20,2015 the recieved an Award for Pupular Gaybar of the Nederlands.
Prik is an immodest, open and colorful friendly bar with allmost every nicht a DJ at the turntable, with a mixed crowd of young and slightly older visitors. Prik is a funky hot spot. A mixed crowd of queers and open-minded people in a funny place.
They are very proud of their cocktails, either with alcohol, or without and favorite drink is Mojito (possibly the best in Town ?) . The Prik have also a small menu of snacks untill hour before midnight
Prik's residents DJ's are DJ GHOSTMAGIC, DJ Devotion, DJ RAF, DJ GINA,DJ Benjamin and the have some guest DJ's.
The managers of Prik also open another bar in Kerkstraat , BUMP. That bar closed its door because by lack visitors and problems to get licenses.Now the owners put everything in at one bar, PRIK and the result can be seen.
Prik Bar is a groovy hang-out all the week. Queer or not, Prik is a hot bar with Lovely Liquids & Twisted Tunes.
