Mr Gay Europe 2025 Crowned on Pride Amsterdam’s Iconic MainStage On Friday evening, amidst a sea of rainbow flags, music, and celebration, Mr Gay Europe 2025 was officially crowned on the iconic MainStage at Pride Amsterdam. In a city renowned for its values of freedom, love, and equality, the event marked the powerful finale of a journey that brought together 12 inspiring finalists from across Europe.
Now more than ever, Mr Gay Europe stands not just as a competition — but as a platform of purpose, a celebration of authenticity, visibility, and impact. It is a space where LGBTQIA+ voices rise above borders, where stories are shared, taboos are broken, and bridges are built across communities.

Hosted at the beautiful Mövenpick Hotel Amsterdam, the finalists took part in an intensive four-day program filled with challenges, dialogue, and inspiration. The week included:
A tough academic exam testing LGBTQIA+ knowledge,
Personal one-on-one interviews with a professional jury,

A powerful team-based sport challenge at Olympic Stadium Amsterdam,Photoshoots at Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam A BADASS city tour, and plenty of unforgettable shared moments.
Each activity was designed to empower the contestants as future leaders and changemakers within the European LGBTQIA+ community.
A Diverse and Influential Jury
This year’s jury brought together voices from across the LGBTQIA+ spectrum — from entertainment and media to activism and community leadership:
-Vanessa Van Cartier – Winner of Drag Race Holland Season 2, former Miss Continental
-Marco Valk – Owner of Dutch Drag Dynasty, organiser of Queen of the North
-Marvin Wijnans – Reality TV personality (Prince Charming)
-Brigitte Midavaine – Director of The Gay Issue magazine
-Jeroen Kijk in de Vegte – Renowned Dutch presenter and media figure
-Melvin Avila – Partner and representative of LGBTQ+ cruise brand VACAYA
-Ellie Lust – Former police officer and respected media personality
-Tim Küsters – Mr Gay Europe 2023 and final jury member

A Platform with Purpose
'In a time when LGBTQIA+ rights and freedoms are under pressure across Europe, this year's edition of Mr Gay Europe couldn't be more relevant,' said Bram Bierkens, Executive Producer of Mr Gay Europe 2025.


With a refreshed identity, bold visuals, and a strong focus on authenticity and connection, Mr Gay Europe enters a new chapter — one that is more visible, more engaged, and more inclusive than ever before. Introducing Mr Gay Europe 2025:
Michael Pereira 🇨🇭 – Switzerland After a high-energy live finale on Dam Square, the crown of Mr Gay Europe 2025 was awarded to Michael Pereira from Switzerland with his campaign "Safe to Grow". His journey was marked by courage, vision, and a deep personal commitment to LGBTQIA+ rights and visibility.

Michael will now serve as an ambassador for LGBTQIA+ communities across Europe — taking part in international events, media appearances, and social and political conversations. His mission: to speak up for the unheard, advocate for equality, and help shape a more inclusive future. Belgium’s Imran Nawaz impressed both jury and audience, earning a well-deserved second place, while Kadeem van de Pol from the Netherlands proudly took third place, showcasing the strength and diversity of talent across the continent.
